Yuanneng high voltage fuse cutout is the most commonly used short-circuit protection switch for distribution branch lines and transformers. The working principle of drop-out fuses is based on the thermal protection characteristics of the melting fuse link. When a short circuit fault or overload occurs in the circuit, the current will increase sharply, causing the fuselink to heat up and eventually melt. Once the link melts, the fuse will automatically drop, isolating the circuit from the power system, preventing the fault from continuing to expand, and protecting the safety of equipment and lines. It has the characteristics of economy, convenient operation, and strong adaptability to outdoor environments. With an obvious disconnection point and the function of isolating switches, our product can reduce the scope of power outages and create a safe working environment for maintenance of lines and equipment when it is installed on lines.

Fuse Cutout Application

Fuse cutout can be installed on the high-voltage side of the transformer on the pole, where the transformer and the capacitor are connected to the line. The drop-out fuse effectively plays the role of overload protection and short-circuit protection in the circuit. At the same time, it can also be installed at the end of a long line or on a branch line. This approach can provide extended protection to areas that cannot be protected by relays. The structure of the drop-out fuse is not complicated but relatively simple, and it is also very economical in terms of price, and it does not require a lot of effort in future maintenance. Because the small size is convenient for installation, the fuse is used in the distribution network been widely used.

Housing insulator is a bird-proof, solid core, one-piece porcelain frame or higher insulation characteristics polymer insulator. Fuse tube is made of moisture-resistant reinforced fiberglass.

Casting bronze/brass, all contact parts will be silver-plated or tin-plated, all copper current paths can promote low resistance current transfer. The average thickness of hot-dip galvanizing is ≥ 85μm, ensuring rust and corrosion resistance. A stainless steel flipper provides suitable fuse link tension and prevents breakage.

Yuanneng cutout can be mounted on either steel cross-arm or poles, at an angle of 15° to 20° from vertical. There is a hole in the mounting bracket to allow the cutout to be fixed through a bolt vertically through the cross-arm with its center line.
