An disconnect switch is a switch device that is mainly used to “isolate power, switch off, and connect and disconnect low-current circuits” and does not have an arc extinguishing function. When the isolating switch is in the open position, the contacts have an insulation distance that meets the specified requirements and an obvious disconnection mark; when in the closed position, it can carry the current under normal circuit conditions and the current under abnormal conditions (such as short circuit) within a specified time. Appearance and Size Inspection
Appearance and dimension inspections are carried out in accordance with the product technical documents and drawings. Inspectors use normal vision, vernier calipers and steel rulers to inspect the disconnectors piece by piece. Products that meet the requirements of the product technical documents and drawings and have no burrs or defects on the surface are qualified, otherwise they are unqualified.
Conductive Loop Resistance Detection
The main circuit resistance test is performed by the inspector operating the loop resistance tester. The operation steps are: ① Connect the connection wires on the loop resistance tester to the two ends of the disconnector to be tested, and the disconnector is in a closed state; ②) Turn on the power supply of the loop resistance tester; ③ Turn on the loop resistance tester switch to test the disconnector and read the test data. The sample is qualified when the test value is less than 100uQ, otherwise it is unqualified.

Power Frequency Withstand Voltage Test
