Suspension line clamp is composed of a hanger U-bolt, a line clamp hull made of malleable cast iron, and a pressure plate. Suspension clamps are hardware used to suspend or support stranded wires and insulator strings (linear pole towers) and to suspend jumpers on insulator strings (resistant, terminal and other pole towers). Under normal operating conditions, it mainly bears vertical loads rather than stranded wire tension. It is usually used together with connecting hardware (hanging plates, hanging rings, U-shaped bolts, etc.) to connect wires and insulators in series and hang them together on the cross arms of the tower. The main body of the suspension clamp is made of forgeable cast iron and high-strength aluminum alloy. When the suspension clamp is used for aluminum stranded wire and steel core aluminum stranded wire, aluminum tape or protective wire can be wrapped around the wire to protect the wire. The applicable wire outer diameter includes the wrapping material.
